In Webconferencing the participants are simultaniously connected to an audioconference and the Internet. After the participants are logged in through a webpage, the chairman of the conference can show all participants a presentation give, a web-tour or show an application. The chairman is thereby assured that all the participants see the same.

Investing in webconferencing
Webconferencing does not require investments or special software. A standard PC with Internet and a telephone is sufficient. On the presenter's side, all that is needed is a standard PC with Internet browser. Only when the presenter wants to make use of more advanced features, such as application sharing, is a plug-in required. The installation procedure, however, is completely automatic, several confirmations excluded.

Webconferencing is a great addition to larger audioconferences, the so-called event calls, where presentations make up most of the agenda.
